The City of Waco commissioned Counsilman-Hunsaker, in association with Kimley-Horn & Associates, to design an out-of-this-world waterpark for their community.
The expansive, family friendly waterpark features numerous amenities including:
• Leisure pool
• Zero-depth beach entry
• Aqua playground
• Interactive water features such as spray ballards and tumble buckets
• Two corkscrew waterslides
• Lazy river
• Vortex
•25-yard, six-lane competition pool
In 2004, Aquatics International magazine featured Waco Waterpark in their magazine, and in 2005, Athletic Business magazine ran a special article about the project.
