Counsilman-Hunsaker, in association with, Kimley-Horn & Associates, and Davis and Davis, were commission to renovate and upgrade Randol Pool for the City of Arlington. The extensive renovation consisted of replacing the 40-year-old traditional “L”-shaped pool with a new aquatic design on top of the existing pool shell. This design decision helped to minimize demolition costs and create a more exciting, family friendly environment.
The comprehensive pool renovation included:
• Demolishing and reconstructing a new entry
• Restrooms and changing facility
• New pool shell
• New pool deck
• New filtration areas
Leisure pool amenities feature:
• Waterslide
• Lazy river with water features
• 40-foot in diameter vortex
• Children’s play area with aquatic playground
• Group party areas
• Swim lesson area
