Purdue University commissioned Scholer Corporation and Counsilman-Hunsaker to design and construct a new natatorium for the Boilermakers aquatic programs.
The state-of-the-art aquatics facility includes:
• Eight-lane, 50-meter competition pool
• Two movable bulkheads
• Separate diving pool with a 10-meter tower, platform diving, and springboard diving
• Plenty of upper deck bleacher-style seating
• Warm water whirlpool spa that can seat 12
In 2003, Purdue University’s aquatic facility was featured as an ‘Architectural Showcase’ in Athletic Business magazine.
