For the Hotchkiss School’s aquatics program, 2002 was a big and exciting year. It marked the grand opening of the new natatorium for the school’s Bearcat swim teams.
Counsilman-Hunsaker, in association with Ellerbe Becket, designed the world-class aquatic facility to meet the school’s and Athletic Department’s programming goals and objectives.
State-of-the-art features include:
•9,090 SF Ten-lane, 25-yard stretch pool
•Movable bulkhead
•Two one three-meter springboard
•Bleacher seating
The natatorium serves as a key training venue as well as a first-class host to competitive events for The Hotchkiss School.
